Geospatial Analysis

We'll Show You The Way!

Geospatial Analysis allows us to view, understand interpret and visualize data in many ways.  Relationships, patterns and trends are revealed in the form of maps, globes, reports, and charts. Data and information can be viewed in a way that is quickly understood and easily shared.

The APOGEE Geospatial team is an emerging area of expertise. The team concentrates on utilizing state of the art geospatial and remote sensing software to analyze, process, and integrate multiple sources of technical data into tailored intelligence products.

The Geospatial team provides technical support to the warfighter through integrating geospatial and all-source analysis in the areas of MASINT, digital image processing, visualization, advanced remote sensing applications, and multi-source fusion.

We develop and apply new methods in analysis, spatial modeling, and multi-source data fusion.  Perform Line-of-Sight (LOS) analysis, viewshed analysis, and route studies.

Some of the team’s activities include developing GeoReference raster products to baseline data, reprojecting data, converting between datatypes, and creating digital elevation model data from high resolution imagery.

Current team tools of choice include:

  • ESRI Geographic Information Systems software
    • ArcMap, 3DAnalyst, Spatial Analyst, Military Analyst, Arc Globe
